Dedicated servers#
Dedicated servers are the provisioning of server computing resources of a certain configuration for the client’s use, with the ability to manage them and install any software.
Dedicated servers are hosted in various geographic regions across 3HCloud’s data center locations.
To get the service, create a ticket describing your project and technical requirements. The 3HCloud commercial department specialist will prepare an offer and contact you.
Dedicated servers include:
Use of the equipment computing resources of a certain configuration.
Connection to the Internet.
Public IPv4 and IPv6 addresses.
Connecting servers to a private network (if necessary).
The ability to remotely manage the server via IPMI.
Replacement of failed components and servers in their entirety.
Technical support 24/7.
After activating the service, the Control panel displays the list of hosted servers.
To view details about a specific server, click More on the card of the selected server. You will be able to see:
Server name (can be renamed if necessary).
Active IPMI access sessions.
Connected SAN network details.
Information about attached virtual volumes.
The IPMI access address is permanent. For security reasons, access is restricted by firewall rules.
Clicking More → IPMI on the card of the selected server opens quick access to the server’s IPMI interface.
To automatically create a session with 3-hour access, click the IPMI button. To grant temporary or permanent access to another IP address, click Active IPMI sessions and specify the required IP address.
You can:
Disconnect an already attached virtual volume by clicking Disconnect.
Attach a new virtual volume by clicking Connect volume (the volume must first be created in the Control panel under Infrastructure → Volumes).
