Access#
To use object storage authorized users need to configure EC2 access keys under the S3 protocol.
Create an ES2 Access Key#
- In the Control Panel go to the “Object storage” / “Access” section.
- By default, ES2 keys are not created. To access using a software client under the S3 protocol it is necessary to create ES2 keys by clicking “Create ES2 keys”.
- An Access key and a Secret key will be generated that can be copied to a client program (for example, S3 Browser, AWS, Cyberduck) for access to the containers under the S3 protocol.
- Depending on the region of the container’s location specify the proper access address. Current access addresses are posted under “Object storage” / “Access” in the account.
